Eurogamer has some juicy news from Take-Two. Since video-game publishers can guestimate based on stock requested by game retailers (Especially from a game like this), and according to the data supplied, it’s going to sell 6m copies worldwide, and make a cool $400m.

This would be the biggest launch in videogame history, but compared with the current record holder (Halo 3), that was a console exclusive compared to GTA IV being cross-platform. However, here’s a nice tidbit for you: The biggest selling film in history was Pirates of the Caribbean, which made $404m in the box office. That’s some degree of perspective, as to where the media market is shifting.
