According to GamesIndustry.biz, Wii Fit’s pre-orders are not going to be fulfilled by original stock. Even the mighty Amazon has run out of stock.
However, there is something to be said about this: This’ll go into the gaming market once again, and will probably either dominate the chart for it’s first few weeks, and/or stay up there like the abomination + Wiimote that is Wii Play for weeks on end. But is this really a game? It’s a one-shot peripheral, that is at best an impulse buy. I’m not one for exclusion of all Wii titles, but surely these peripherals coupled with an excuse to sell said peripheral a game shouldn’t really be included, especially since the majority of the cost is the peripheral itself.
