Why: I felt like I needed a voice away from my livejournal; something that I could really call my own, and would be around as companies lived and died.

The Name: It comes from a World of Warcraft meme, where a nerd declares that he has found a ‘+4 Strength +4 Stamina Leather Belt’. Since it was hard coming up with a name, it was either that, MoarPylons (Which is now the name of my personal blog), or IAmSinistar.

Content: I hope that this will become my ‘high-brow’ journal/blog, where only my thought out entries go. As much as I would love to say that I think all my posts through, a lot of the time the personal ones are just strings of thought. Hence why I don’t want to post them here. However, hosting another Wordpress blog just for that is an option.

Future Plans: I hope that this site will start filling out and eventually host everything I need (images, flash etc), but for now, a blog with mashups on the sidebar is good enough for me. I would love, if I started going along the revenue avenue, that the site would eventually pay for itself, but no more. This is a hobby, and as such I would much rather keep it as a hobby compared to making it into my living.

Blog Software: I’m currently running Wordpress 2.5, with a tweaked version of the Mandigo theme. Major changes are a new header and customised sidebar. Sidebar tweak is an RSS scrape from my Personal blog, and the BlogRush widget.
